POSITION: Global Business Development Manager
LOCATION: Port Talbot, UK

Global Business Development Manager
Position Purpose:
Responsible for driving business growth and sales by developing and managing new and existing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- A strong understanding of crop protection, plant health products, and integrated pest management.
- Experience in sales and marketing, ideally in the agriculture industry.
- Excellent communication skill.
- Creative thinking.
- The ability to create financial models.
- Fluency in at least two languages, with English being mandatory.
- A graduate degree in business, marketing, or law.
- Budgeting, costing, and risk management skills.
- Superior negotiation skills.
Specific responsibilities:

Identifying new sales leads

Pitching products
-
Create new effective plan for penetrating new segments/markets.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotion tools.

Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets

Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
-
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
-
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
-
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
-
Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
-
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
-
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products

Developing quotes and proposals
-
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
Required Skills:
An Candidate must be:

Agriculture background, preferably knowing the agriculture markets of UK and Europe.

Good with numbers

Able to provide quality leadership to a large team of sales people
