Description

CropIQ’s team of scientists, chemists and engineers has developed IQ RED SCALE-X  to ensure optimal performance and durability in managing California Red Scale “Aonidiella aurantia”.

IQ RED SCALE-X  comprises a dispenser which contains a sex pheromone which is  species specific for female of the CRS. Lures can we used with Crop-IQ sticky Traps

Mode of Application: 

Remove the lure IQ RED SCALE-X from the packaging and place the green cup in the middle of the sticky plate and empty the content of the syringe into it by simply pressing the plunger “no need to cut the tip”. The male scale insects are attracted by the sex pheromone and stick to the adhesive part.

 

Replacement: Replace the pheromone lure every 90 days or as recommended by the local agricultural authorities. Replace the sticky board when full with insects and debris.

Time of application: Use before the time emergence of the first generation and until the end of the season.

Trap density: The trapping density should be adequate to the crop infestation and the type of

For monitoring: 2 to 3 traps per hectare but not less than two per plot.

For mass trapping: 50-60 per hectare in a regular distribution.

 

Suitable trap:

The best trap to use with IQ YELLOW STICKY ROLLS AND BOARDS.

The traps have to be checked once a week after setting them in the field, until  some days after the last harvesting.

Storage: 

  • Store the dispenses away from sunlight in a dry and cool place.

  • The product expiry date is 2 years from production date under good store conditions and without opening the original container.
