Time of application: Use before     the emergence of the first generation and until the end of the season.

Trap density: The  trapping density should be adequate to the crop infestation.

For monitoring: For industrial gardens, place 1 trap every hectare in areas needed for monitoring. Use 1trap every 4 hectares in areas of possible occurrence. In allotment

For mass trapping: 30-50 trap per hectare in a regular distribution.

Suitable trap:

Black sticky traps are used with the pheromone lures for routine monitoring, as they have a lower

catch of non-target species than coloured sticky traps. Pheromone lures may also be used with black pyramid or light traps.
